Scouts are young people, part of a movement whose goal is that of supporting the youth in their physical, mental and spiritual development in order for them to play constructive roles in society. Scouts are well organized in sections by age or school grade so that the activities can be adapted to the maturity of the groups members. Adults can also be a part of the scout movement as leaders, after participating to trainings, or helping with administrative issues. In order to achieve their goals, scouts use the well known scout method that comprises seven elements: law and promise, learning by doing, team system, symbolic framework, personal progression, nature, and adult support.
