Scouts of Lebanon are part of the Lebanese Scouting Federation that comprises 28 scouting organizations in Lebanon and it organizes and supervises the scout movement here. Scouting was introduced in this country in 1912 by two teachers who came from England, Abdul Satar and Abdul Jabar el Kliairi who established the first Scout troop in the school owned by El Hibri, where they worked. The membership badge of the Lebanese Scouting Federation and many of the member Scout emblems worn by the
scouts of Lebanon incorporate the Cedar of Lebanon, the national symbol. At the present time, there is a number of around 14.400
